Christian made a new friend in our backyard today.
When we put him back on the ground, he waved bye and said, "Bye, Roly! We'll see you tomorrow." We might see him tomorrow but it might not be the same pill bug. It makes no difference really and I wouldn't tell him that. I'll let him imagine that his friend waited for him all day long in the backyard for him to come back.
Aww, how cute! Yes, kids do best this way- when I was young, butterflies were my friends, but they all flew away! He even had a name for the roly poly!
