Jaded

I never want to become jaded. I'm scared of that. Having a child reminds me about how I used to be amazed by the simplest things. Christian will point at things in amazement. Even the fireworks he saw; you would think he saw a UFO. I don't want to lose that part of myself. That's what I love the most about being a parent. I rediscover lost fascinations in the things that mattered to me at one time.

    I think that's why I want so much to be a parent. Experiencing all that wonderment all over again :) I'm slowly but surely reading through this site...this is really wonderfully amazing stuff!!
